Prologue

Choices

I'm trying to write stories again, but my mind kept focusing on my college subjects, so it is a bit hard to concentrate on writing fictions at the time being. Although sometimes the idea came out of nowhere when I'm studying. It's fun, but I want to finish some writings first hehe.

Today, I want to tell about happiness! :D

Ever heard of "Bad Day", "Bad Mood", or even "Eternal Unhappines"? Okay, the last one is a little bit extreme...

As human beings, it is rational to actually be depressed or demotivated, maybe even to think about the hardships that we have done on that day and how people won't appreciate those hard works of yours. But as my mom always said, "Being happy or not is a matter of choices. It does not come from the people around you, but it comes from within yourself. So you cannot say, 'I need someone to motivate me today'. You should say, 'I am very motivated today!' And you'll be able to bring positive thoughts within yourself without having anyone near you to do so"

A wise advice that my mom gave me at the time I told my mom about how bad my day was and how I just want to yell at everyone at that day
Yes! Happiness is not made by your surroundings! But, it is made by yourself! A bad day will not be a bad day when you always be grateful at what you experience that day. So, just set a smile, forgive every scolding you receive today, be tough, and share that positive aura of yours! Maybe, you'll make people around you happy because of your happiness :)

Good Night! And may tomorrow be a better day :)

Warming Up!

Though the rain pours over,
The sun will still shine

Though bad events fill your day,
The day will still pass

Though the line is thin,
This is still reality

Though the dream is beautiful,
It is still a dream

Whether people like it or not,
The time will pass on

Whether it is as painful as people thought it would,
Aren't we still breathing fine?

Thus, what shall you choose?
To run or to overcome your day?

- Good Morning, Have a Great Day Ahead :) -

Esclair de Reve and Rahasia

Hello!! Oh My Allah SWT :) Finally i can write again after a year. Woohoo.

Well, I want to publish two of my old stories here, written in Bahasa Indonesia. Had some of short stories in my old posts. I still love to read those short stories written in English. Maybe you can have a look at it when you have the time. So, enjoy these two stories!

If you have any advise, would really love to actually hear from you :) Just let me know XD

*PS: If you don't like something bloody, don't read Rahasia. It contains a lot of bloody scenes and I recommend you really have a great base of religion since it's a bit unusual.

You can download and read it :) But do mind about copyright!

Exchanging Thoughts: Brunei and Indonesia

It was around on the second semester when my organization had a visit from exchange college students, Nisa and Amal from Brunei. What I'm going to post here is actually a little conversation I had with Amal regarding Indonesia and Brunei differences about social movement in education for civilians.

Amal said that in Brunei, there are no such thing (as I remember, maybe I remembered incorrectly) as an organization or even college students willingly make a social movement in education for the poor. In Brunei, all of the education sector are handled by the Governor. This makes the civilians, even the poor, are able to reach education. It's a good thing since every Brunei civilians have the right to have higher education than they thought they would. But, on the other hand, this will kill a lot of social movement and make Brunei civilians unable to be sensitive with social problems, especially education for the poor. Not only that, there will be no challenges for the civilians because everything is provided by the country.

Instead in Indonesia, the college students are very sensitive about social issues, especially education for the poor. This is a good start and will make a great difference for the future if the sensitivity is maintained. There are always new challenges, especially for students, more specifically college students, in their everyday life.

What I get from the small conversation, Indonesia may want to take more concern about education, especially the Governor. Why? Education is the base of Indonesian future. If there many well-educated (whether in moral, exact, or social lessons) children in Indonesia, then Indonesia's future will be as well-planned as their education :D

That is all. Sorry for the messy English. Haha. Haven't write anything in English recently.. So I need to practice more. I hope this will be a boost of morale for the readers :)
